You can set iPod so the backlight
turns on for a set amount of time when you press
a button or move the scroll wheel. To set the backlight
timer, select Settings in the main menu. Then select
Backlight Timer and select the time you want. If
you don't set the backlight timer, you can still
turn on iPod's backlight by pressing and holding
the Menu button. After a few seconds, the backlight
